Baloch Salvation Front appealed the Baloch nation to boycott Pakistani elections and do not cast votes
The Baloch Salvation Front, a coalition of Baloch Watan Movement, Baloch Gohaar Movement and the Baloch Liberation Party, said on Thursday that occupiers has always used the bogus parliamentary politics of Pakistan as a tool to quash Baloch freedom struggle.
A statement, issued by the central representative of BSF, further stated that parliament has played an important role in keeping the Baloch people enslaves. Once again the drama of votes and election is going to be staged in few days. Pakistan is completely supporting its agents, in the form of so called Baloch parliamentarians, for this drama to strengthen the occupation of Balochistan by Pakistan.
Baloch Salvation Front appealed the Baloch nation to boycott Pakistani elections and do not cast votes. “The consequences of 40 years of parliamentary politics have been very damaging. It has done nothing other than further pushing the Baloch nation into slavery. Today the Baloch nation is in this quagmire of poverty and suppression only because of slavery. The reason behind this condition of Baloch nation is Pakistani state and the opportunistic Baloch parliamentarians, who have harmed the Baloch struggle even more than the occupier.”
The spokesman for BSF further said that in past the so-called parliamentarians managed to intrude into the Baloch politics and then lured many Baloch towards Pakistani politics with their canning tactics. The Baloch were deceived with the false slogans of democracy whereas the real intention was to strengthen the occupation of Balochistan and to make it easy for the occupier to plunder Baloch resources.
“Today the Baloch are conscious enough to counter any such policies of occupier because the struggle has advanced many folds and the Baloch nation is aware of their due rights. The struggle and national consciousness reached to the roots of Baloch nation,” said the BSF central spokesperson.
He further said that occupier state is trying to force the Baloch nation towards elections through brutalities and killings, adding that the Baloch should not pay heed to Pakistani tactics and continue their struggle for national liberation. “Because participating in Pakistani elections is like signing on the agreement of slavery,” the BSF said.
“The state’s use of brutal force to push Baloch to cast votes shows the clear defeat of Pakistan. The behavior of the state clearly shows that Baloch struggle for freedom has become a solid reality, which cannot be rejected. It shows that the Baloch nation has negated any kind of politics of petty perks and privileges. That’s why the occupier is using brute force to falsely show to the international community that Baloch are still participating in Pakistani elections and they are happy to remain in Pakistan,” the spokesman for BSF said.
